Preserving Our Valley's Legacy
For 30 years, the Wood River Land Trust has been powered by people like you—passionate community members who care deeply about preserving the Valley’s wild places. Thanks to your support, we've protected nearly 28,000 acres, created 17 public access preserves, and restored over 14 miles of the Big Wood River and its tributaries. These efforts have given us cherished spaces like the Hailey Greenway, Boxcar Bend, Howard Preserve, and Warm Springs Preserve—where we can all explore, recharge, and connect with nature. As our Valley grows and environmental pressures increase, we’re committed to protecting more places you love. Together, we’ll protect even more vital habitats for plants and animals, restore more river miles for trout and wildlife, and keep the Valley a vibrant place to live, work, and play—today and for generations to come.
